The Annals of St. Remedius Medical College

Of the many mysteries behind the famous/notorious educational institution known as the St. Remedius Medical College, the most enduring involves its recent destruction on an otherwise nondescript day in May. The annihilation of the entire campus was notable in that absolutely nobody was killed or even injured, and the only remaining trace of the college was a massive excavation just north of downtown Dallas, Texas. For most passersby, the entire school seemed to be scooped out of the ground and transported elsewhere, a situation aggravated by two factors, the first being that nearly all traces of St. Remedius in both print and online were completely wiped from existence at the same time. The second was that the entire faculty and administrative staff, including the dean, were found two days at an impromptu campsite at Lake Possum Kingdom in west Texas, all extremely intoxicated and all deliriously happy after 48 hours of nonstop celebrating. Since then, none at the campsite have talked about what happened on that day, or in fact on any previous day of the college’s existence, and they probably never will.

This missive is probably the only record of St. Remedius, including its origins, its purpose, famous alumni, its faculty, and possible causes of its disappearance. A lot herein is conjecture constructed from hints and speculations, with discussions and confrontations simulated in some cases for dramatic effect. The Annals of St. Remedius are nowhere near complete or even accurate, but anybody else wanting to dredge up its history is welcome to do so with the blessings of everyone involved. Those individuals will need it.
