Notes and Chords From The Quantum War
(Who was St. Remedius? And why is a medical college named after him?)
Underlying everything, everywhere, is the threat of the Quantum War. The Quantum War was old when the Vuun were the indigenous intelligence on Earth, and the Quantum War had just started in the final microseconds of the universe. The Quantum War ranged for billions of years across all of space and time, and the Quantum War still hasn’t happened yet. Out of all of the resources held at St. Remedius Medical College, nearly everything in it had some sort of connection to the Quantum War, those who started it, and those who ended it. Some of those warriors no longer remember their involvement, some have no idea that they will lead and would be sickened with the news were it to happen any sooner, and many have no idea they enlisted before they ever existed as a potential. That said, the Quantum War is coming for one and all, and the question now is whether those facing it live, die, never exist in the first place, or transform into something new, or all of these at the same time.
